It is NOT a "Thompson" Boat. It is one made by T & T Boats, Inc. of Wausaukee, Wisconsin. This was a completely independent company that competed against Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co. of Peshtigo, WI; and Thompson Boat Company of New York, Inc. at Cortland, NY; and Cruisers, Inc. of Oconto, WI.

All four of these firms were owned by various members of the Thompson family of Peshtigo, WI and they all competed against each other after January 1959.

T & T Boats were well made and of a design that was a step ahead of Thompson and Cruisers, in my opinion. I have two and I grew up with one which my dad bought at the liquidation auction in May 1965 after T & T closed. My parents still own that boat.
